Our chefs have a variety of international travel experience, as well as experience cooking in locations and situations around the world, and are ready to accommodate your dining needs wherever you may require them. We specialize in cooking for visitors in their villas, condos, time shares, and rental homes, awaiting their arrival with delightful appetizers, and a fresh, welcoming dinner ready to serve.
Culinary Presentations and Dynamic Speaking
At Dining Details our chefs cook, but our passion lies in bringing the joy of great food to people in a broad variety of ways. We teach, we present, and we empower people to cook for themselves, and live better with quality foods.
Each year, Mama's Kitchen and Dining Details team up to create a culinary experience for 80 guests. Following a predetermined theme, Dining Details creates the menu based on seasonal and local ingredients, brings together talented vendors and sponsors, and presents an entertaining and educational presentation for guests. Themes have included: Opposites Attract and Cooking with "Foods of Love," among others. Each course is paired with wine, and a sommelier led wine discussion follows each culinary demonstration.

Carlsbad Library "Journey through France with Julia Childs"
Dining Details provides the thematic food for community sponsored events, as well as the education that follows. In this particular event, the featured book of the month was Julia Child's My Life in France. Chef Julie discussed the importance of Child in the modern day of culinary arts, and showed how to adapt her recipes and techniques to cook with local, seasonal products. Bringing in fresh produce from Be Wise Ranch, Suzie's Farm, Tierra Miguel, Sage Mountain, and seafood from local purveyors, Julie and her team put on a presentation and spread to remember. Children's Nutrition Education
Nutritional Assemblies at local schools
We believe kids have are important- and need to eat well! In this fast food nation, we are bringing up our kids on processed, shelf stable foods because they are cheap and convenient. We teach parents how to cook healthy for their kids, but more effective than anything is to get the information to the actual kids. Through our entertaining and educational presentations, we teach kids the importance of eating well, and empower them to make better food choices. Our chefs present the research based information in a positive, inspiring way that kids can relate to and remember. We can follow up the assembly with fun, interactive hands-on cooking experiences with the students.

Lunch and Learns for companies of all sizes
Our chefs teach employees how to eat healthier conveniently and cost effectively. We provide a healthy lunch, cooking demonstration, educational discussion, and take-home recipes for companies of all sizes. Our most basic presentation teaches people how to increase the nutritional value of their food, using simple techniques that can be done quickly after a hard day's work. We educate you on how access your local farms, and purchase quality foods on a budget. For more serious corporate wellness programs, Dining Details offers series of nutritional cooking lunch & learns. We bring in nutritional cooking education as it pertains to issues and challenges faced by corporate America. These include: Eating for your brain and cognitive health; Eating to improve your cholesterol; Regulate your blood pressure with healthy food choices; Weight loss with whole foods and healthy fats; and others.
